How many times this week, or even today...have you gotten these newsletters in your email? Maybe five or seven. How many of them did you read?
Don't feel bad. I rarely read them myself. I just scroll down and look at the covers. If one strikes my fancy, then I click on it. Otherwise it's headed right for the trash.
So, you might be asking why I'm writing this. That's simple...with most publishers its a mandatory thing. One I've been neglecting. Which apparently shows how much I want my books to sell. I guess that's none. I haven't written a blog post since last year, I think. I do know I sent a newsletter when my last book went out.
If I know you're not going to read it, and I know you're not going to read it, then why write it?
A. Because I like to have an outlet once in a while.
2. Because I feel like I should keep everyone updated on my status as an author.
And Z, because I have to have hope that at least three people read every newsletter. Three out of three thousand subscribers would be epic.
So, first on the agenda... most of you know of my illness. IF not then you're not going to find out here. This is not somewhere I want well wishes. I just want to be seen as everyone else. I know that's boring, but boring never exists in my personal life, so I'd love some in my business life.
I have one of those boring illnesses that will deteriorate my body over time. I feel great most of the time, but since my son left for boot camp I drowned in my depression and just couldn't shake it. So, things have been put on hold until further notice:
Ravana Moon Book three
Himalayan Files Book two
Skylar Ryan series
Also, Alara's Curse is finally going to release, and a little early due to the hold on Skylar Ryan. Pre-order your copy today. The price goes up after release.
As Porky Pig says at the end of every episode...
That's all Folks!!
